Snow Lamp relates to the long and cold Nordic winter. Inspired by snow lanterns, the lampshades are sculpted in snow before being cast in porcelain in the workshop. The casting process preserves the temporary forms, while the translucent porcelain gives off a warm glow when illuminated from within, much like a snow lantern in winter.
